This two day course will assist the student with the tools necessary to identify what the appropriate level of response is for person-in-water incidents. The student will be better equipped to gauge response capability needed to conduct operations on board the vessel safely and effectively, based on:

• Hazard identification
• Risk assessment
• Training level of personnel
• Availability of internal and external resources.
• The ship’s SOP
