This USCG approved survival craft training meets the requirements or STCW section A-VI/2 and is based on the guidelines of IMO model course 1.23 Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats. This marine survival training includes emergency evacuation and abandon ship together with taking command of launching a lifeboat and rescue boat. In water survival skills include: Helicopter egress, lifeboat characteristics and equipment, lifeboat davits, winches and releasing mechanisms as well as boat handling and lifeboatmanship, recovery of life boat and first aid.
