Cruise Line ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
New Install & Retrofit Services:

Cap Sante International has been providing ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) new install and retrofit services to the cruise line
industry servicing the US markets since 1999.

On July 6, 2010, approximately 20 years after the ADA ruling was
signed into law, the US Dept. of Transportation issued a Final Rule
under the ADA guidelines to ensure non-discrimination on the
basis of disability aboard cruise ships.  On January 3, 2011 most
provisions became effective with rules related to cabin
reservations postponed to January 3, 2012. 

It has been one of CSI's corporate priorities to provide the cruise
line industry with products and services that elevate the positive,
barrier-free and dignified sailing experience for all cruise line
passengers with disabilities.

CSI has been able to Design and Install:

Public area modification programs: These programs address
the needs for wheelchair access in the public areas by modification
of front desk, and computer area countertops, modification of
bathroom spaces and viewing areas

Cabin modification programs: These programs address the
needs for wheelchair access in cabin spaces such as entry door
modification, lights, bathroom and balcony access

Shore Tender & Platform modifications: These programs
address the needs for wheelchair access to tenders providing
ship-to-shore access services & excursions

Pool & Hot Tub access systems: These systems address the
needs for passengers who are restricted in mobility to have
unrestricted access the shipboard public pool and hot tub
areas onboard ship
